On the 7th of July, the EU will officially present its future pavilion for Expo Milano 2015. The event will take place at the European Commission Representation in Milan.
Statements will be made by Mrs Diana Bracco, Commissioner General of the Italian Pavilion and President of the Board of Expo 2015, and Mr David Wilkinson, EU Commissioner General for EXPO.
The EU Pavilion will be officially presented, highlighting the details of the visitor experience which will enable the EU to communicate with citizens in a fresh and innovative way, through two fictional animated characters. Visitors will be immersed in a “field to fork” story and will learn about EU history, current food policies and the promising technologies of tomorrow.
A web stream of the event will be displayed in the European Commission Representation in Rome (Via IV Novembre, 149) to enable journalists to follow the press conference from the capital. A cocktail will follow the event.
