We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
Together with the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), the JRC is organising a two-day information event aimed at presenting JRC activities and providing relevant Ukrainian stakeholders with information on possibilities for cooperation with the JRC.
The first day will open with the signing of a Research Framework Arrangement (RFA), followed by a series of thematic sessions on smart specialisation, agriculture and food security and disaster risk management.
Day two focuses on research and innovation strategies for smart specialisation (RIS3).
