We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
The “workshop-like” atmosphere of this international conference addresses many applications of radionuclide metrology.
It is highly educational for staff of institutes developing an infrastructure for radioactivity measurement and for laboratories starting, or seeking to improve, monitoring of radioactivity in the environment, drinking water and food.
