We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
The JRC is co-organising, together with the University of Halle, the University of Cassino and the University of Naples, the International Conference on Robust Statistics (ICORS) 2014.
The conference intends to establish a forum for discussions about recent developments in robust statistics and related fields. This includes new methods, theories, and concepts in robust statistics as well as applications of robust methods in statistical data analyses.
Through the JRC Enlargement & Integration Action, the JRC promotes the co-operation with scientists of the New Member States, Candidate Countries and non EU Countries associated to FP7.
