We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
EU PVSEC is now one of the premiere PV conferences globally, attracting over 1000 papers and about 3000 participants each year. This year's event will be held in Hamburg, Germany from the 14-18 September.

The European Commission established the first of these conferences in 1981 (held at Stresa, Italy). Since 1996 the JRC supports the Conference by providing the scientific programme coordination.
