We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
The European Career Fair (ECF) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is recruiting event that connects employers from Europe with talented graduates, researchers and other job seekers that live in the US. Through networking and job interviews, the fair facilitates contacts between European employers and possible candidates who are interested in living and working in Europe.
The European Commission and the ECF co-operate since 2007 in order to promote career opportunities in science and technology in the EU. One month before the event more than 4000 candidates have submitted their CVs to the organisers and over 100 European companies and public organisations have signed up.
