We are doing science for policy
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.
SELFIE has been developed in-house by the European Commission (Joint Research Centre and DG Education, Culture, Youth and Sport) and a team of experts from across Europe. External experts and national coordinators are working together on content, design, translation/adaptation to the local settings and the pilot implementation in a number of education systems across Europe. Expert and stakeholder consultations will take place before and after the piloting of the tool. SELFIE online platform will soon be available on the European Commission website.
