The Summer School, co-organised by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC), the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), Global Young Academy (GYA) and the International Network for Government Science Advice (INGSA), brought together scientists and policymakers from EU Neighbourhood countries, Western Balkans and EU Member States at IIASA's premises in Laxenburg, Austria, from September 5-7, 2018.
Under the guidance of leading experts in the evidence-policy interface, 75 researchers and policymakers from 40 different countries, addressing challenges of migration and demography in their daily work, learnt new skills and insights into the practical interactions of research and policymaking.
The summary of the main lessons is currently under preparation. In the meantime, feel free to consult the material presented during the event in plenary speeches and interactive masterclasses.
