Effective Development Cooperation. Does the EU Deliver?

A DEVCO study reviews how EU and Member States performed in the 2018 Global Monitoring Round on development effectiveness, explores the reasons behind the trends in performance and suggests how to improve. 

The session will discuss the findings and implications for the EU and beyond. DG DEVCO A2 will provide a short introduction of the topic and of the main study findings, followed by responses from Member States (Germany, Sweden) and civil society (CPDE representative) before opening the floor to the audience for on overall exchange of views.
