The EU Framework for National Roma Integration Strategies (NRIS), adopted by the Commission in 2011, is coming to an end in 2020. The mid-term evaluation of the EU Framework (COM(2018)785) identified, inter alia, the need to reinforce combatting antigypsyism in a potential new post-2020 initiative on Roma equality and inclusion. This report, prepared by experts in the field, reflects the current state of debate around this topic and provides forward-looking and concrete recommendations on how to address antigypsyism for EU policy making.
