Benjamin Denis is advisor for the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) where he mainly deals with climate and energy issues and coordinates related ETUC activities  (inter alia: “Industrial regions and climate policies in Europe”, “Green Workplace”, “Anticipating the transition: engaging young workers today to reach 2050 goals”). Holding a PhD in political science (Université libre de Bruxelles), he is also Visiting Professor at the Saint-Louis University in Brussels. Before joining the ETUC, he used to be expert for the Belgian Federal Ministry of the Environment (2009-2012) where he primarily worked on international climate finance. In that capacity, he has been active in various EU expert groups as well as in the UNFCCC process
