On the occasion of our annual conference with universities, DG Interpretation is organising the "Young Interpreters Award 2020 (Leopoldo Costa Prize)".
You can participate if:
- you are a national of the European Union or a candidate country to the European Union (please note that the terms on which the possible withdrawal of the UK from the EU is agreed may affect the eligibility of British participants).
- you are currently in your last year of your master’s degree in conference interpreting and you haven’t participated in the Young Interpreters Award contest before.
Contributions (in French, German or English only) can be submitted by e-mail only to the following mailbox: SCIC-YOUNG-INTERPRETERS-AWARD@ec.europa.eu
The theme of the speech that you are invited to write about is: "Interpretation: the added value of a profession”.
The deadline for sending in contributions is 23 January 2020.
NB: When you send us your contribution, please also send us proof of registration to your course.
What is in it for you?
Participating in this contest might result in the unique opportunity to see the world's largest interpreting service at work and much more!
