Summary

The EU-Balkans Action Plan on firearms trafficking provides a framework for cooperation between the European Union and countries in south-eastern Europe, to combat the illicit trade in weapons in that region.

This report will assess the extent to which the plan has met its strategic goals, such as building an intelligence picture, instituting measures to impede  gunrunning, training and equipping local law enforcement authorities and cooperating in the field with them.
