    Annex I 1.2.5 Suggested revision for mainly two reasons. First of all, the monitoring body has to monitor by definition, meaning that has to check whether a website is accessible or not, independently from the evaluations made by a third party. If a third party evaluation is accepted, the role of the monitoring body would be diminished. Secondly, 3 years is too long period – a website/mobile app changes significantly in a 3-year time period....

    The overall approach of this proposal is good. The combination of qualitative and quantitative testing mirrors the recommendations from the SMART 2014/0061 research study as well as the recommendations of the WADex SubGroup which means it is based on empirical research as well as input from a variety of stakeholders including end user organisations (DPOs).
