The Commission relies on the expertise of specialists to evaluate proposals. These can be members of the Commission staff or independent specialists recruited for a specific call because of their skills, experience and knowledge in the field of the call.
Proposals are evaluated against the criteria listed in the call.
Different funding programmes may have different evaluation procedures. For more detail, please refer to a specific call for proposals relevant to you.
The number of proposals selected will depend on the available budget.
Applicants will be informed of the outcome of the evaluation procedure by letter or by online notification.
Sometimes proposals which were not initially selected may be offered funding at a later date, if a higher-scoring project does not go ahead or additional funds become available.
