The Commission is launching a call for proposals for the 'Pericles 2020' Programme. The 'Pericles 2020' Programme funds staff exchanges, seminars, trainings and studies for law enforcement and judicial authorities, banks and others involved in combating euro-counterfeiting. Actions can take place in the euro area, in EU Member States outside the euro area and in other countries. Applications by all 28 Member States' competent authorities can be introduced to receive co-financing. For more information, please consult the webpage on the 'Pericles 2020' Programme

UPDATE: Clarification

“In the context of the publication of the 2017 call for proposals of the Pericles 2020 Programme, and answering a question risen about the use of accommodation and subsistence costs, the following clarification is made to the Financial guidelines for applicants:

Point 10.7 of the Financial guidelines defines the accommodation and subsistence costs eligible for participants requiring "non-local travel" to the venue of the action. For these "non-local" participants, the subsistence costs cover any meal (lunch, dinner) to which they would participate as well as local travels. Nevertheless, some actions may require meal(s) to which local participants (those not entitled to accommodation and subsistence) are also invited. In such cases, the additional cost can be covered by a unit cost of 30% of the daily subsistence allowance per local participant per meal.”

Sending the application

Applications (in paper format: one original and one copy) must be sent to the address specified in point 5 of the text of Call for Proposals either:

no later than 1 April 2017 – for actions to be implemented after 1 September 2017

no later than 15 September 2017 – for actions to be implemented after 1 January 2018
