This cooperation workshop of the Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan Action 6 aims at contributing to the realisation of the implementation plan: enhancing cooperation between national programmes and further developing the activities into actual projects.
The SET-Plan countries representatives will meet and discuss together existing forms of cooperation to identify the best cooperation model for the future: bilateral or multi-lateral cooperation. To the complete audience, including also the industry, research and academia stakeholders, the countries representatives will then share information on the identified cooperation models and on their programme portfolios and project examples related to the Action 6 priorities.
In addition, parallel brokerage sessions, opened to countries representatives and stakeholders, will focus on further developing the activities: presenting ideas of projects, looking for possible cross-border cooperation between similar and/or complementary ideas, identifying specific actors and potential financing sources for collaborative projects.
The implementation plan of the SET-Plan Action 6 on "Continuing efforts to make EU industry less energy intensive and more competitive" was endorsed by the SET-Plan steering group on 29 September 2017. It describes the future activities that will contribute to reaching the targets defined earlier in the declaration of intent, agreed by the temporary working group, which includes the SET-Plan countries representatives and stakeholders.
Any SET-Plan country or stakeholder's organisation interested in joining one of the temporary working groups to deliver on implementation plans is kindly invited to inform the SET-Plan Secretariat (SET-PLAN-SECRETARIAT@ec.europa.eu).
