International cooperation can greatly contribute to increasing the safety of products on the market. The International Product Safety Week (IPSW) provides an excellent opportunity for discussions among international regulators, industry, consumer organisations, standard-makers, test laboratories, academics and other product safety experts. The event is organised every two years in Brussels

The next International Product Safety Week (IPSW) will take place in October 2020 at the European Commission's Charlemagne building.

The agenda starts on Tuesday 27 October and will end on Friday 30 October. It includes the high-level Trilateral EU-US-China summit, sessions on different topics (product recalls, best product safety practices and more) and a workshop organised with UNCTAD. It will also host the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organisation (ICPHSO) symposium.

Registration for the IPSW 2020 is not currently open - more information soon.
