More than 150.000 visitors are expected to visit the AGRO SHOW fair which will take place in Bednary from 22 to 25 September 2017. AGRO SHOW is one of the largest agricultural technology exhibitions in Europe and a leading one in Poland. With more than 800 exhibitors and 150.000m² exhibition space, it showcases agricultural machinery, fertiliser, seeds, plant protection products, financial services for farming etc.
A distinctive feature of this fair is demonstrations of new models of machinery, technological innovations (including for precision farming) and operators' skills.
The European Commission will take part in the fair with a stand that highlights the benefits of the Common Agricultural Policy.
The main message of the Commission stand managed by the department for Agriculture and Rural Development is "From farm to fork, sustainable food for our future".
Showcasing the benefits of the common agricultural policy to the general public and agri-food specialists alike, the stand offers a wide range of activities to visitors to the fair, from touch-screen games to help them learn more about the food chain to the chance to taste EU quality and organic food - or simply the opportunity to ask Commission staff more about EU food and farming.
