The Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission is organizing together with the OECD Science, Technology and Innovation Directorate a webinar series on innovation and growth. The series draws on four ongoing research projects, supported under Horizon 2020: the OECD microBeRD, MapProdIGI, KnowInn and REITER projects. These projects aim to increase understanding of important issues such as public support for innovation, business dynamism, productivity, the role of public research to support innovative entrepreneurship, and the monitoring and assessment of research and innovation policies in Europe and beyond.

The webinars provide an opportunity to showcase the latest project results and to highlight recent academic work in these areas. Interventions by policy makers, policy analysts and leading academic experts will further explore the policy implications of this work and avenues for future research.
