On Thursday afternoon 28 January 2021, DG ECFIN will organise its annual workshop on fiscal policy, dedicated this year to "The role of fiscal policy in mitigating the COVID-19 crisis". The workshop will be organised in form of a webinar with high-profile speakers and discussants from academia and international institutions.
The webinar will be structured in two parts. Following an introduction by Commissioner Gentiloni, Laurence Boone (OECD) will give a keynote speech on “Tackling the fallout from COVID-19”.
