This event gathered more than 550 representatives from local authorities, industry and financial institutions to discuss the key success factors for financing climate adaptation, clean urban transport and energy efficiency in cities and regions. This was the biggest event of its kind in Europe to date, showcasing 30 successful projects on financing climate adaptation, energy efficiency, clean mobility and innovative energy planning, as well as initiatives working across Europe to facilitate the market for climate and sustainable energy finance. Practitioners had a unique opportunity to network and to share experiences and best practices on the development of bankable investment pipelines in order to enable replication by other interested project promoters. Institutional stands were also featured in the fair of the market place.
The event is organised by the European Commission's Directorate-Generals for Energy and Climate Action and the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) in collaboration with the Covenant of Mayors.
