Summary

On the 18th January of 2020, during the 50th Symposium “Contemporary Economy and Public Administration” organised in Zakopane, a Citizens' Dialogue with Filip Skawiński and Bartłomiej Balcerzyk, the representatives of  European Commision in Poland took place.

The discussion was led by professor Jacek Klich from Cracow University of Economics. The intense discussion with around 80 students, professors, representatives of companies and local leaders touched upon many issues, such as the current situation in Europe (Brexit, migrations, climate change).

Participants, in particular, wanted to know how the European Union is facing actual issues, how to keep integrity due to many euro-sceptics movements, how to deal with populism and how to tackle the climate change issues.
