Join us on 8 June 2020 for the Webinar on civil liability aspects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and share your views on how to handle the liability challenges of AI technology.

Following the adoption of the Commission White Paper on AI and the Commission Report on safety and liability for AI on 19 February 2020, the Commission is consulting stakeholders. In addition to the public consultation launched with the publication of the White Paper and the Report, these Webinars give stakeholders the opportunity to provide their input on specific substantive  topics which so far have raised a lot of attention in discussions in different fora. Please note that the discussion will not cover the Product Liability Directive.

The programme is divided into three webinar sessions, each covering a different topic. Stakeholders can register to one or more sessions.

Please note that the sessions are interactive and in order to allow a good quality of communication the number of places is limited to twenty participants per session.  The deadline for registration is 17 May 2020. Participants will get a confirmation of their registration closer to the event date. Depending on the interest and the emergence of other subjects in the discussion on IA liability, more webinars may take place on the same or other subjects.
