The European Commission is organising, together with Slovakia as hosting country, the 15th European Nuclear Energy Forum (ENEF) in Bratislava.
The forum will be an occasion for broad discussion among all stakeholders on the opportunities and risks of nuclear energy. The topics will be chosen in a way to allow discussions linked to the energy challenges faced by the EU Member States.
Founded in 2007, ENEF annual forums take place alternatively in Bratislava and Prague. These are open to everyone with an interest in nuclear energy, including EU governments, European institutions such as the European Parliament and the European Economic and Social Committee, representatives of the nuclear industry and regulators, electricity consumers, and civil society.

Due to the pandemic, the next edition of ENEF, which was scheduled to take place in Bratislava on 1-2 March, has to be further postponed.
The hosting countries and the European Commission are dedicated to organise a high-level, relevant and safe face-to-face event, hopefully in the second half of 2021.
Further information will be communicated as soon as possible.
