GreenClimeAdapt - Green tools for urban climate adaptation (pdf)
GreenCLimeAdapt aimed to demonstrate how cities can address and adapt to the impacts of climate change (including increased rainfall and urban heat island) via green tools including open storm water management, the use of green facades and green roofs.

CIRCUSE: Managing land use for the benefit of all (2010-2013)
The CircUse project promoted sustainable urban development by limiting the use of new green spaces and by reusing previously used or underused land.

Neighbourhoods reborn (2007-2013)
REVIT, a network of six cities, worked together to improve the rehabilitation of brownfield sites within the framework of sustainable development.

Stuttgart: combating the heat island effect and poor air quality with green ventilation corridors (2014)
A climate atlas was developed for the Stuttgart region, presenting the distribution of temperature and cold air flows according to the city’s topography and land use.

Refurbishment of Gomeznarro Park in Madrid - storm water retention (2014)

The project improved the natural drainage and rain water retention of the Gomeznarro Park in Madrid which had been affected by erosion during heavy rainfall events.
