About the Erasmus+ funding programme
Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport. With a budget of €14.7 billion for 2014-2020 it provides opportunities for over 4 million participants to study, train, gain experience, and volunteer abroad. It also offers €1.68 billion for activities with partner countries.
In addition to offering grants, Erasmus+ also supports teaching, research, networking and policy debate on EU topics. The sports chapter promotes grassroots activities in sports.
Opportunities for individuals specifically aimed at students, learners, staff, trainees, teachers and volunteers can be accessed from all over the world.
There are also opportunities for organisations, which want to explore development and networking opportunities with universities, education and training providers, think-tanks, research organisations, and private businesses.
