ERTMS 2013-EU-60018-P

ETCS Baseline 3 On-Board Tests Campaign

Programme:

The main objective of this project is to test ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) Baseline 3 compliant on-board units (OBU). In particular, it covers the performance of conformity tests of Baseline 3 OBUs followed by the revision and synchronisation of test cases and sequences defined in applicable EU legislation.

The project will contribute to reinforcing the interoperability of the EU railway sector by consolidating the existing Baseline 3 test cases and sequences, as well as reduce testing costs through the use of remote laboratory connections.

State of progress on 31 December 2014:
Testing of Baseline 3-compliant OBU in line with the Subset-076 Baseline 3 tests requirements has been launched.
