EuroCapRail: modernisation of the Brussels-Luxembourg-Strasbourg rail axis


This project, part of Priority Project 28 (EuroCapRail Brussels-Luxembourg-Strasbourg railway axis) 

followed an agreement between the Luxembourgish and Belgian railway infrastructure managers (CFL/ Infrabel).

It aimed to improve the train connection between the three countries in terms of time, safety and comfort. The project included works foreseen in Luxembourg, namely:

  • Modernisation of the border section between Kleinbettingen and Luxembourg/Cessange
  • Upgrading of Bettembourg Station


The Action is closed.
