First phase of detailed planning studies - programme phase - for upgrading the railway access lines to the future Fehmarn Belt fixed link - from Ringsted to Roedby

Programme:

The proposed Action consists of advanced studies in view of the subsequent construction on the section Ringsted-Rødby, between Sealand and Lolland in Denmark. It concerns one of two parts of the Fehmarn railway hinterland connections in Denmark. As part of Priority Project 20 (Fehmarn Belt railway axis), this section's completion is a key component of the main north-south route connecting the Nordic countries to the rest of Europe.

 

The action consists of:

  • Geotechnical and ballast borings;
  • Other technical studies for existing constructions and underground cables are conducted;
  • Elaboration of the strategy of procurement;
  • Elaboration of construction work plans and strategies;
  • Archaeological surveys for programme phase conducted.
  • Elaboration of design and programme phase report.
  • Preparation of tender for consulting services and detailed design
