Save your place at Horizon 2020 Energy Info Days 2017

The info days will present the new funding opportunities for energy projects offered by the Horizon 2020 work programme 2018-2020. The content of the event is structured across three days:

  • Day 1 (Mon, 23 Oct 2017) introduces the overall policy background and the Horizon 2020 work programme and covers funding opportunities for Global Leadership for Renewables, Decarbonisation of Fossil Fuels and other cross-cutting issues
  • Day 2 (Tue, 24 Oct 2017) guides the participants on Smart Cities & Communities and Energy Systems funding opportunities
  • Day 3 (Wed, 25 Oct 2017) focuses on Smart & Efficient Energy funding opportunities

The event also offers two different brokerage events to network:

  1. One overarching event organised by the Horizon 2020 National Contact Points and covering all thematic areas on Tuesday 24 Oct 2017 in the SQUARE conference centre at Rue Mont des Arts, Brussels. Register now.

  2. The second brokerage event will take place during the Smart and Efficient Energy day on Wednesday 25 Oct 2017 in the foyer of the Charlemagne building. Register now.

Registrations for the two brokerage events are open. To be accepted for the brokerage events you must first register for the info days.


What are the info days about?

The event will:

  • update you on the European Energy policy;
  • present you with the energy priorities of the Horizon 2020 calls for proposals in 2018 - 2020
  • provide you with guidance on how to apply for funding;
  • give you an opportunity to network and find project partners.


Who should attend?

More than 800 participants coming from the research and innovation community, including SME associations, businesses, European and national trade associations, chambers of commerce, European institutions, universities, research centres, financial institutions, etc. are invited to the event. Please note that max. two people per organisation will be accepted to participate.


Event date and venue

The event will start on Monday 23 October 2017 at 09:30 CET and will ending on Wednesday 25 October 2017 at 18:00 CET. It will take place in the European Commission’s Charlemagne Building, Rue de la Loi 170, 1000 Brussels, Belgium.  


Web stream

The event will be web streamed live. The links to the web stream from the sessions will be published on the event page. The online viewers will have a possibility to ask their questions via social media.


Recordings and presentations

After the event, you will be able to watch the recordings of all the sessions on the event page. The access to the recordings will be free. The presentations will be also available for download.
