Creation date: July 14, 2017
Have you registered for the Connecting Europe conference that will take place on 21-22 September 2017 in Tallinn? The event aims to attract some 1,500 participants to identify policy actions and financing solutions for the European Transport sector with the perspective of the post-2020 EU financial framework.
We are very pleased to inform you that registration for the conference exhibition is now open. The exhibition will showcase the successes of CEF, TEN-T and related EU funding programmes that contribute to European transport infrastructure development. It will take place throughout the conference on four floors of the event venue, Nordea concert hall in Tallinn.
How to register for the exhibition
If you are interested in participating as an exhibitor, please complete and submit the online form by Sunday, 13 August 2017 at the latest. The European Commission will select exhibitors on first come first served basis, yet ensuring a fair balance between transport modes and good geographic coverage. Your registration does not guarantee participation in the exhibition due to space limits of the conference venue; however we will try to include as many participants as possible.
Details about your stand
This year we encourage clustering of projects in order to show more beneficiaries and highlight synergies. If you would like to showcase a cluster of projects, please indicate the project coordinator and project in lead in the 'About you' and 'About your project' sections and add all other projects and contact persons in the additional fields.
We also encourage you to present your project's achievements in an attractive and interactive way, to make the exhibition a truly unique experience for its visitors. Please describe shortly your stand idea in the respective field.
The standard stand size is 2x2 metres and includes a table, two chairs, a panel for posters and a screen. Other stand sizes are possible if justified in the stand idea description. Additional equipment will be available for rent – please indicate your needs in the respective fields.
Details about your participation
Participation in the exhibition is free but you will be responsible for the production, transport, installation and removal of your stand/materials. You must be available to set up your stand on Wednesday, 20 September and take it down on Friday, 22 September. Please note that the conference venue does not have storage space, therefore all exhibition material cannot be sent to Tallinn until one week before the event at the earliest and should be collected immediately after the event.
All stands will be required to remain up until Friday, 22 September lunchtime. Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc will do an official tour of the exhibition, where you will have the chance to meet and greet her at your stand (exact timing to be confirmed later on).
Details about the exhibition guide
A paper version of the exhibition guide will be included in the participant bag, and an electronic version available on the event website. A page per stand will feature information that you provide in the 'About your project' section. Please keep your project description under 300 words (several short paragraphs) if you apply as a single project. The description can be longer for clusters of projects. Please provide high quality images.
Thank you very much for expressing your interest and we look forward to hearing from you. If you have any questions in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org
