Over €614 million requested in Horizon 2020 Energy funding

INEA received 79 project proposals on 29 January 2020 for 8 topics covering smart and clean energy for consumers, smart citizen-centred energy system, smart cities and communities, and smart airports (EC-ES-SCC).

€614,53 million has been requested against the available €178 million in EU funding.

The projects will now be assessed in a single-stage evaluation.

The final results of the selection will be known by the 12 May 2020.

The selection of projects will carried out by external independent experts. These evaluators are drawn from the European Commission's database.
