Nearly €500 million requested for H2020 Transport projects

INEA has received 84 second-stage project proposals by yesterday's deadline of the Mobility for Growth and Automated Road Transport calls, requesting overall €481.4 million in EU funding. The total available budget for both calls is €235 million. Evaluation of the project proposals will start in mid-October.

€174 million in total are available for project proposals under 11 topics of the Mobility for Growth call in the areas of aviation, waterborne transport, safety, urban mobility, logistics and intelligent transport systems. 73 project proposals requesting €402.3 million in total were submitted:

Evaluation of all the topics is expected to start mid-October 2016. Applicants will receive the evaluation results by the end of February 2017 at the latest.

External evaluators of project proposals are drawn from the European Commission's independent expert database.
