INEA hosts a H2020 Smart Cities and Communities workshop

Creation date: January 26, 2018

Today, INEA is hosting a workshop gathering twelve Smart Cities and Communities projects implementing wide range of smart urban solutions. Within these projects, so-called 'lighthouse cities' test new innovative ideas. If successful, these solutions are then replicated by so-called 'follower cities'. The goal of the workshop is to exchange good practices and discuss how to best replicate smart urban solutions in the follower cities.

Close to 40 cities from 18 European countries are attending this full-day discussion on challenges and issues they meet when replicating specific smart city measures. The event is organised around three thematic workshops on: urban mobility, low-energy districts and on integrated infrastructure.

Have a look at the event page and the map of cities involved in the projects.
