H2020: €605 million requested for clean energy projects

INEA has received 83 project proposals by yesterday's deadline of the Low-Carbon Energy call. The total available budget is €155 million. According to estimates, up to eighteen projects may be funded through these funds (indicative).

Successful projects are expected to develop or demonstrate clean energy technologies in the fields such as local heating and cooling, renewable power generation, building-integrated photovoltaics, heat and power generation and biofuels. Projects will be also funded to bring clean energy technologies closer to market. In total, six topics were open for application in this round of the Low-Carbon Energy call.

The results of the evaluation will be known no later than 16 July 2018. The selection of projects will be carried out by external independent experts. These evaluators are drawn from the European Commission's database.
