Creation date: February 7, 2018
The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) conference will be held in Brussels from 5 to 7 June. The call for organising sessions and nominating candidates for the EUSEW Awards has been launched with a deadline on 23 February 2018. We are waiting for you to apply!
Launched in 2006, EUSEW is a two month-long series of activities organised across Europe annually to promote secure, clean and efficient energy. It brings together policymakers, stakeholders and citizens to achieve climate and energy goals for the Energy Union.
The highlight of EUSEW is an annual conference, held in Brussels, dedicated to sustainable energy policy issues. During the event, stakeholders are invited to organise sessions, compete for awards and network in a specially designed Networking Village.
You can now propose your own contribution to this year's conference, taking place 5 to 7 June in Brussels, and apply to host a session, compete for an award, or nominate an energy champion that you think should get the prize! Don't miss the deadline on 23 February 2018.
Organise a session
Sessions can be organised between 5 and 7 June 2018. You are invited to choose from one of the following formats: panel discussion, roundtable, seminar or world café. Sessions can focus on topics such as smart cities, energy islands, smart grids and storage, energy efficiency, renewables, consumers and more. You can apply until 23 February 2018.
Compete for an award
Your innovative solution can be considered for an award if it is based in one of the EU countries, has a practical application that can be replicated elsewhere, and is ongoing or ended after June 2017. This year you can apply for an award in one of four different categories: Consumers, Public Sector, Businesses, and Young Energy Leaders. You ca also nominate candidates whom you consider energy champions. Apply until 23 February 2018.
