Become a member of the INEA Advisory Group for CEF Transport

INEA is launching a call for expression of interest for candidates who would like to become members of the INEA Advisory Group for CEF Transport.

Details concerning the function and role of the group are available in the mandate. To be eligible, candidates wishing to apply should have a working relationship with one of the organisations involved in the implementation of projects funded through CEF Transport.

Successful candidates will participate in the Advisory Group in their own capacity, they shall be independent and impartial and shall be available to carry out their duties in an effective manner. Their main responsibilities will be discussing the topics put forward and providing advice in the best interest of the group.

The members of the Advisory Group will be appointed by the Director of INEA for a period of three years, following a selection procedure. Their mandate may be renewed.

The selection process will be based on the following criteria:

  • Level of involvement  in the implementation of TEN-T EU-funded projects
  • Balanced representation of stakeholders in terms of
    • stakeholder type (beneficiaries, implementing bodies, etc.)
    • transport modes and horizontal priorities under CEF Transport
    • geographical spread across the EU
    • gender

Interested candidates are invited to submit their application by email to  no later than 1 June 2018. The application should include:

  1. A short CV (max. 2 pages)
  2. A short motivation letter (max. 2 pages)

The outcome of the selection procedure is expected to be announced by 30 June 2018.

The first meeting of the Advisory Group under its new mandate will take place in autumn 2018 in INEA's premises in Brussels.

The above call of expression of interest will be communicated via email to all INEA CEF Transport beneficiaries, to the members of the CEF Committee and to the Permanent Representations of the Member States to the EU (Transport Attachés).
