2016 CEF Telecom Draft Work Programme published

The 2016 CEF Telecom draft Work Programme has been published to provide potential participants with the currently expected main lines of the 2016 Work Programme. The adoption and the publication of the Work Programme by the European Commission is expected by the end of February. Only the adopted Work Programme will have legal value.

CEF Digital Services Infrastructures are the basic elements required by the Digital Single Market to meet the needs of businesses and citizens in their cross-border activities. In 2016 the Connecting Europe Facility will support activities related to:


  • Safer Internet
  • Europeana
  • eIdentification and eSignature
  • eDelivery
  • eInvoicing
  • Public Open Data
  • Automated Translation
  • Cyber Security
  • eProcurement


Moreover, a new set of Digital Service Infrastructures will be kick-started: the Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information (EESSI); the Business Registers Interconnection System (BRIS), and the European eJustice portal.
