ELVITEN seeks to make users more familiar with light electric vehicles (EL-Vs). Via its long demonstrations it will collect logs of trips done with EL-Vs, traces from the apps and services usage and users’ experiences and opinions after their trips. The analysis of collected data will result in guidelines and business models for service providers, Planning Authorities and vehicle manufacturers in order to make EL-Vs more integrated in the transport and electricity networks. The project will design and organize one-year long demonstrations of light electric EL-Vs, bicycles, scooters, tricycles and quadricycles, in six European cities. Sharing services for private mobility and light goods deliveries will be organized while vehicles parking and charging Hubs will be available. Users will be able to book a vehicle, a charging spot or a parking place via an app to be deployed by ELVITEN and they will be motivated to use EL-Vs instead of fossil fuel vehicles via the ELVITEN Digital Coach app, the Serious Game app and the Smart Card collecting award points. Each City will decide on the award rules and incentives.
