The Action consists of studies for the track between the Core urban node of the city of Helsinki and city of Lohja, located in its wider urban network.

A general plan for this track will be made as well as supplementary planning which will cover signalling systems, electrified track planning as well as the project appraisal and evaluation of its effects and externalities.

By building this missing link, it will increase the connectivity and accessibility between the Core Network node and its urban area as well as enabling a modal shift to public transportation along this node.
