The Action, located on the Baltic-Adriatic CNC is the final stage of the Global Project for the port of Gdansk. The Action aims to improve the access and trans-loading capacity of the largest maritime ports in Poland by modernising, constructing and re-developing railway infrastructure.

It entails track upgrades (approximately 70 km), station adjustment, re-development and expansion of the Control System at Gdansk Port Północny.

In the long term, the Action will positively impact on quality of infrastructure in terms of safety, security, performance whereas ensuring the quality of services and continuity of traffic flows on the Baltic-Adriatic corridor.
