The Action’s overall objective is to improve the capabilities of the Digital Security Authority (DSA) in order to act as the national cybersecurity certification authority (NCCA) of the Republic of Cyprus, in line with Regulation (EU) 2019/881 (“Cybersecurity Act”). In addition, the Action will foster the cooperation between the DSA and other similar entities in other EU member states.

Specifically, the Action foresees a series of trainings that cover the entire certification process from beginning to end, as well as interactions among relevant bodies, documentation creation and management, definition of organisational and technical requirements, and the development of pilot certifications at the basic and substantial assurance levels with the use of the EU Common Criteria Certification Scheme (“EU CC Scheme”) and the Eurosmart candidate cybersecurity certification scheme, and several support activities.

The Action will also improve the beneficiary's cooperation with relevant cybersecurity stakeholders at the national and European level.
