The Action aims at developing a Federated eTranslation TermBank Network to allow organisations and institutions in EU Member States to locally deploy individual eTranslation TermBank federated nodes.

The federated nodes will be linked to the central federated node (the eTranslation TermBank) and regularly synchronise terminology changes. eTranslation TermBank will be linked to ELRC-SHARE repository and will regularly update terminological resources in the repository, thereby ensuring currentness of terminological data stored in ELRC-SHARE and available to CEF eTranslation. The Action will cover all EU official languages as well as Norwegian and Icelandic, while focusing in particular on the languages covered by the consortium partners (Latvian, Danish, Icelandic, Estonian, Lithuanian, Slovenian, German, and Swedish)

The open Terminology Management Toolkit will be made available to the Member States and CEF affiliated countries and their administrations for deployment of their local terminological platforms and for the use of selected cloud solutions. Moreover, by delivering the Toolkit, the Action will help streamlining and standardising the terminology curation and sharing practices throughout Europe, thereby lowering costs and efforts required when sharing terminological data (for both the data owners and data users)
