eInvoicing Directive 2014/55/EU

Last modified:
April 2022

The CEF eInvoicing building block supports public administrations and private companies in complying with the eInvoicing Directive 2014/55/EU, in particular the new European eInvoicing standard (EN).

The Action's objective is to uptake the eInvoicing solutions in 11 public hospitals (6 from Hungary, 3 from Belgium, 1 from Portugal and 1 from Poland), the Hungarian Directorate-General for Social Affairs and Child Protection and other Healthcare private centres (2 Hungarian providers, 2 Belgian private hospitals), facilitating the implementation of the European eInvoicing Standard in line with the requirements of the Directive 2014/55/EU (eInvoicing Directive).

The hospitals and health care providers of this Action will develop their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to integrate the eInvoicing solution compliant with the EN. This will be followed by the deployment of the automated interoperation and intercommunication within EDICOM B2B Platform using its own AS4 Access Point for the multiple eDelivery services in place.
