The CEF eDelivery building block supports public administrations and private entities to exchange electronic data and documents with other public administrations, businesses and citizens, in an interoperable, secure, reliable and trusted way.
The main objective of the Action is to promote the use of the eDelivery DSI-Digital Service Infrastructure amongst private and public entities by integrating the AS4 messaging protocol, specifically the eDelivery AS4 Profile, in five already certified PEPPOL Access Points (APs) from Sweden, Italy and Denmark.
These APs of the Electronic Data Interchange providers of the consortium (Crediflow AB, Tickstar AB, Qvalia Group AB, Net4market - CSAMED S.R.L. and mySupply ApS) are currently linked to the Electronic Registered Delivery Services (ERDS) of their cloud platforms. The implementation of each AP covers the mandatory transition from AS2 to AS4 profile and upgrade of their SMPs that will allow their clients to operate via PEPPOL network with the new eDelivery AS4 profile.
This Action will enable access to a large number of European entities to the cross-border exchange of electronic documents in line with eDelivery AS4 specifications and will further promote the use of eDelivery around Europe.
