eInvoicing Directive 2014/55/EU
http://ec.europa.eu/growth/single-market/public-procurement/e-procuremen...
The CEF eInvoicing building block supports public administrations in complying with the eInvoicing Directive 2014/55/EU, in particular the new European eInvoicing standard (EN16931).
The Action will analyse and implement a new architecture model for the existing eInvoicing solution compliant with the EN 16931 and in general for national systems involved in the public procurement process. The activity aims to move from a centralised architecture to a services-oriented one. The new architecture will be deployed at the end of the Action and will connect the national platform to other national registries in the area of public procurement and contract management, offering more capabilities to the end-users by automating the end-to-end public procurement procedures.
The Action also foresees the integration of services from other sectors, e.g the health sector, allowing end-users to process invoicing data in a more automatic and efficient way.
Dissemination and exploitation activities to facilitate and promote a further adoption of EN 16931 invoices in cross-border and domestic contexts with a view at both public and private business domains are also in the scope of the Action.
