The CEF eID Digital Service Infrastructure (DSI) allows cross-border authentication for EU citizens and online services cross-border access through the eIDAS Network.

This Action aims to provide solutions for cross-border powers of representation and e-mandates. In particular, the action will define the semantic definitions of mandate attributes and enhance the eIDAS Interoperability Framework for connecting national mandate management infrastructures.

Thanks to this, the Service Providers will be able to allow the representation of legal or natural persons within their eIDAS enabled services and as well as the eIDAS node operators to access national mandate infrastructures as Attribute Providers (apart from connecting their national identity providers) .

Specifically, the Action will enhance eIDAS node implementations of the beneficiaries (AT, ES, NL, SI) with additional functionality supporting powers of representation and e-mandate attributes and will integrate the e-mandates in selected e-services for AT, NL and SI.

The action will align its activities with ISA2 action 2016-12 for semantic interoperability of e-mandates and the eIDAS Technical Subgroup to ensure that its results are fed back to the community and all EU Member States can benefit from its experience and best-practice.
