The Action's overall objective is to fully integrate the MeliCERTes platform into the day-to-day operations of the Austrian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT.at), by ensuring redundancy of MeliCERTes's infrastructure and systems within CERT.at.
The Action will further develop the incident sharing tool IntelMQ, which is a component of MeliCERTes and of CERT.at’s systems. This will enable all members of the Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs) Network to use MeliCERTes to share actionable information with their local constituency through IntelMQ. IntelMQ will also be made interoperable with CERT-Polska's n6 system.
In addition, the Action will improve CERT.at’s incident handling capabilities, IT operations and internal security as required by the national legislation transposing the EU Directive on security of network and information systems (NIS Directive) in Austria and increase the automation of CERT.at's processes related to the extraction of intelligence from existing datasets for incident management.
Moreover, the Action will further develop the skills of CERT.at's employees by means of regular trainings.
Finally, the beneficiary will participate in the EU-level cooperation mechanism MeliCERTes.
