The CEF eProcurement Digital Service Infrastructure (DSI) supports the transition to full electronic public procurement, as well as cross-border interoperability.

The objective of this Action is to implement the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) based on EPSD exchange data model version 2 in the Italian eProcurement ecosystem. In particular, the Action aims to:

- Upgrade the SIMOG service operated by ANAC in order to allow the Contracting Authorities to produce an ESPD aligned with the ESPD data model;
- Upgrade the eProcurement platforms run by Central Purchasing Bodies (Consip and Intercent-ER), introducing new features to manage ESPD flow activities.
- Implement a free service to support the Italian Economic Operators to complete the ESPD.

The Action is expected to provide added value to Economic Operators and Contracting Authorities by significantly speeding up the process which aims at making all national platforms “ESPD ready”. It will further ensure full compliance to the EU Directives on public procurement (2014/25/EU and 2014/24/EU) and the CEF eProcurement DSI.
